Compact, colorful, and delightfully scented: The Bijou Dwarf Mix offers all the fragrance and beauty of traditional sweet peas in a smaller, bushy form. Perfect for borders, containers, and small garden spaces, this blend produces a charming array of pink, red, lavender, and white blooms with a sweet fragrance that attracts pollinators and brightens any space.

Direct Sowing: Sow seeds directly outdoors once the soil has warmed to at least 50°F. For best results, soak the seeds overnight before planting to encourage germination. Plant seeds 1 inch deep and 2–3 inches apart in rich, well-drained soil. Keep the soil consistently moist during germination, which usually takes 10–14 days. Once seedlings emerge, thin them to about 6 inches apart to allow for bushy growth.

Early Sowing for Seedlings: Start indoors 6–8 weeks before the last frost date in deep seed trays or pots. Maintain a temperature of 55°F–60°F. Provide bright light and avoid overwatering. When the seedlings are about 3–4 inches tall and outdoor temperatures are stable, harden them off gradually before transplanting. Space them 6 inches apart in beds or containers with full sun exposure.

Harvesting: Begin harvesting blooms when the flowers are fully open and vibrant. Pick regularly to promote continued blooming and prevent the plant from going to seed.
