How to Grow: Growing carrot microgreens requires a little patience but is highly rewarding. Start by evenly spreading the seeds over a shallow tray filled with a well-draining soil medium. Press the seeds gently into the soil surface and mist with water to keep the soil moist. Cover the tray with a lid or another tray to create a dark, humid environment for germination. Maintain a temperature between 60°F and 75°F, misting daily to ensure consistent moisture. Carrot seeds take longer to germinate, usually around 5–7 days, after which you can remove the cover and expose them to indirect sunlight or grow lights for healthy growth.

Harvesting: Carrot microgreens are ready to harvest when they reach 1–2 inches in height, typically 12–18 days after planting. Look for their fine, feathery leaves and vibrant green color to ensure peak freshness and flavor. To harvest, use clean scissors to snip them just above the soil line. Rinse gently with cool water, pat dry, and enjoy their sweet, aromatic taste in salads, soups, wraps, or as a unique garnish for various dishes.
